The special edition V8 Vantage S SP10 Coupe was sold alongside a similar roadster version, commencing in February 2013.  Initially the SP10 was only intended to be built in LHD form for continental Europe, although eventually is also became available in RHD for the UK, Australian, New Zealand and Hong Kong markets.  The car was inspired by the success of the V8 Vantage GT4 particularly in the VLN endurance championship at the Nürburgring.

Named for the SP10 racing class that competes at Germany’s Nurburgring, the Aston Martin Vantage SP10 is powered by the same 321kW/490Nm 4.7-litre V8 engine found in the Vantage S, and is capable of a top speed of 305km/h. The Vantage S hits 0-100km/h in 4.5 seconds.

Although the SP10 was initially an unlimited special edition, production of the car continued for two years, such was it’s popularity. Effectively replaced by the N430, total production of the SP10 coupe reached 384 examples.

The SP10 offered here is an Australian delivered vehicle, delivered through Barbagallo Aston Martin in Western Australia to the first owner, Mr Geoffery Butcher on the 21st of June, 2014. Following it’s first service performed at Barbagallo Aston Martin , the car then made it’s way to The Gold Coast where it was cared for by Sunshine Aston Martin in Southport. Service intervals were adhered to and is documented in the original handbook that accompanies the car.

The car presents and drives superbly, has travelled a mere 4,000 km’s per year and has been well and truly pampered.

Limited special edition Aston’s are rarely offered and continue to appreciate in value, this SP10 is no exception.
