Aston Martin Restorations
Post-war Aston Martins are our specialty
Over the past 30 years we have restored numerous collectable Aston Martins ranging from the post war DB2’s, the quintessential DB 4/5/6 range and the increasingly popular DBs and AM range of the late 1960’s and 1970’s.
Aston Martins are complex. A steel chassis sub structure clothed in an aluminium body is a challenge for most repairers, but it’s critical that this area of the restoration in particular be executed with precision and without compromise. Our experience in restoring dozens of Aston Martins means we know where to look and we know how to restore them properly the first time, so that the restored car will last another lifetime.
Mechanically, we have been maintaining and restoring Aston Martins for more than 3 decades and have a wealth of knowledge and experience in the early Bentley designed DB2 engines, the Marek designed 3.7 and 4 litre 6 cylinder engines and then the thunderous quad cam V8 engines.

DB2 range
We have restored a number of the early DB2, whether it be a DB2/4 convertible, a DB2/4 coupe or even the ultra rare DB2/4 fixed head coupe. We know the unique idiosyncrasies of these early DB’s and how to overcome them to restore your car to original Concours D’Elegance winning condition or by integrating tried and proven subtle improvements to improve the driving experience, safety and reliability.

DB4,5,6
We have had the whole range through the workshops of Concours Sportscar Restoration, including repairing and maintaining numerous DB4’s, DB5’s and DB6’s. When it comes to restoring them to their former glory, there is no one else in Australia with the experience and know-how to restore David Brown’s finest.
DBS, AMV8 and Lagonda
From the early 6 cylinder DBS, through to the V8 range, whether it be mechanical fuel injected, Weber carburettor or the late EFI cars, we have been maintaining, upgrading and restoring the whole range for 3 decades.
Popularity of the bigger Aston has soared, but in years gone by, when values were low many of these cars were subject to poor maintenance or cheap, dodgy repairs. Pre-purchase inspections are a must, as is the expertise to know how to look for problems. We have the necessary expertise to tackle any repair, rectification or restoration work required to the highest standard ensures the longevity, reliability and performance that these cars are preserved.
