Verified by the accompanying Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate, this original and unrestored Jaguar E Type fixed head coupe chassis number 861176 was built on the 25th of April 1963 and dispatched to Brysons, Sydney on the 30th of May 1963. It was delivered on the 12th of November 1963 to accountant, Mr David P Dickson of Darling Point, NSW.

Delivered new in the classic colour combination of carmen red and black leather interior, the car today is exactly the same. Aside from some paint repairs throughout the car’s life and regular maintenance, the car is unrestored and in factory original condition. The car is full numbers matching.

Since Concours Sportscar Restoration rebuilt the engine back in 2011, the car has been used sparingly and has had annual servicing carried out. In preparation for sale, Concours Sportscar Restoration completed a comprehensive inspection and report with all noted repairs attended to including fitting new chrome wire wheels and splined hubs, new exhaust system, new suspension bushes and wheel bearings and a major service and tune.

The car presents beautifully with original bodywork, interior and mechanical componentry in unmodified and original condition. Finding an unrestored E Type these days is not easy, but to find one in such amazing condition that is ready to enjoy is almost unheard of.
