New sill panels were fabricated and bolted onto the chassis. Then the bulkhead was restored with new side box sections required. The bulkhead was then set back up on the chassis and aligned to the new sills. The new firewall could then be offered up and welded on.

The new rear bulkhead was also offered up to the original rear end and welded on. A new battery cover was also manufactured. There were isolated rust repairs necessary on the rear of the body then the bootlid was trial fitted.

Now structurally sound, the front and rear guards were refitted. The rear guards needed some repairs but were pretty good, as were the front guards. All of the old lead was removed and fresh lead was loaded in and then file finished to achieve the correct shape, gaps and profile.
