We removed the body and sent it for beadblasting and then removed the remaining components from the chassis and sent it for beadblasting also. The chassis came back in perfect condition and was simply set level in the workshop ready for the body to be refitted.

With the body refitted to the chassis, all lead was removed from the body and a full assessment could be made. Unfortunately, all of the work performed by a previous repairer was either incorrect of not to a suitable standard so this, along with a lot of other additional areas of the body require replacing. First step was to make a new battery box area and new inner rear wheel arches.
