The cylinder head was CNC ported using our program that has been developed over years of testing. Stainless    1 7/8 inlet and 1 5/8 exhaust valves were fitted with hardened seats, performance valve springs, titanium retainers and lightweight buckets and camshafts of our design complete the valve train componentry. Also fitted was late model Jaguar adjustable cam gears for easy cam timing changes and a set of bucket guide retaining plates. The Weber manifold was port matched to the cylinder head and 45DCOE webers are fitted initially and we plan to do back to back comparisons with these and 48DCOE webers on the dyno.

The completed engine ready for the dyno. The oil filter housing will be changed for one with oil cooler take offs when the engine is fitted into the chassis. Easier to dyno without the oil cooler. Finishing touches include new electronic ignition, alternator conversion with micro V belt and new pulleys, C Type breather blanking plate, modified C Type cam covers with breather take offs and a flip top oil filler cap.
